Announcing!  The newest family member is a Heartland BigHorn 3055.

Birth year 2008,  Weight 15,000 lbs    Length 34 feet

She’s a beauty!  She will now be prepped, and I will take delivery in about a week and a half to two weeks.  She was purchased from RVs for Less in Knoxville, TN.  Needless to say, I am beyond excited!  I feel so blessed to have found this upgraded baby.  A few more pictures below.

A fifth wheel is very roomy inside when the slides are out in position.  This one has a wonderful living area with a sofa bed, two lounge chairs, a computer desk, and a fireplace.  The kitchen has corian counters, and the microwave is also a convection oven.  She also has dual pane windows!

I love that the colors are quite neutral, allowing me to add touches of color and comfort as desired, making this home.  I will park my new home at a local campground for a month or more, while I stock and set her up.  Because we are already into November, and the weather is changing rapidly, it may be early next spring before I get out on the backroads.  Then, again, I may head out earlier.

A king (but shorter) sized bed, mirrored closet doors, a walk-in closet (sort of), and a glass shower.  The sink vanity is in one corner of the bedroom with a medicine cabinet above it.  I like my new home!  My next job is to find the truck to pull it……no small task.  I have done a lot of research on it, and the manager at the dealership where I purchased my rig has offered to contact other dealers he knows to assist me to get the best deal.  Isn’t it wonderful when you work with Christians?

Now to think of an appropriate name for her.  Any suggestions?

Moments of grace:  today I am especially thankful for honest, caring salespeople who know my name!  Thanks also to my sister and brother-in-law, who have allowed me to drag them through several dealerships and website after website in search of the new baby.
